Nanny Options: A Custom Platform for Childcare Recruitment

Managing childcare recruitment means keeping track of candidates, families, applications and documents. Nanny Options brings these workflows together in one web application, built around the agency’s day-to-day needs.

A central CRM gives staff access to candidate profiles, family requirements, qualifications, employment history, documents and communication notes. Online application forms feed directly into a review and approval workflow, helping reduce repeated data entry.

The platform also includes:

• Candidate CV generation — create PDF profiles and email selected candidates’ CVs to families.

• A self-service portal — invited candidates and clients can update their details and manage documents.

• A custom form builder — create and publish additional forms without writing code.

• Tools for staff collaboration — activity histories, access controls and record locking help teams manage changes.

Built with PHP, Laravel 12, Filament 3, Livewire 3 and MySQL, with Tailwind CSS and Vite for frontend styling and asset tooling, Nanny Options combines an internal management system with public applications and account portals.

The focus is practical: less repetitive administration, better organised information and more time to help families find suitable childcare.
