Nimble CMS
Nimble CMS is my own content management system, built from the ground up on the rock-solid Laravel framework.
The main reason I started working on this project was an absolute dismay for WordPress, which I've been using for the past twenty or so years. What started as a great blogging platform with just the things needed for blogging ended to be a bloated content management system that is trying to please everybody at all costs.
The admin section became a mess the moment the plugin and theme devs found out they can easily hook up their—often paid for—work straight into the top level navigation in the sidebar. Finding the correct page within the admin to make a slight adjustment to how the website looks, or to change a simple thing like sidebar location, has become tedious even for someone as seasoned as I am. A simple blogging platform became a full-time maintenance project on its own...
And so I created my own. A basic CMS that does not try to do it all. This CMS is not an e-commerce platform. It's not a funnel platform. It's simply a tool to create your website, or a blog, that looks great, loads fast, and is secure. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Note: Nimble CMS is not publicly available on any repo for now. When I've built enough websites with it and I'm happy it really works, I'll be happy to share the code with all of you.
